Medication Policies

Medications will be provided by the cat's owner in the original container, appropriately labeled with the veterinary information and directions. Dosages will not be changed from the veterinary instructions without written approval from the prescribing veterinary doctor/veterinary office.

Medications: There is a $5.00/day administration fee for all medications prescribed by a veterinary doctor; i.e., pills, gels, trans-dermal gels, suspensions, etc. Injection fees are $10.00/day.

Subcutaneous Fluids: There is a $15.00 administration fee for subcutaneous fluids administration. This fee is per administration.

Cat Boarding Policies

Scrumples welcomes cats and kittens of all ages. We also welcome cats with special needs, including diabetics, those with kidney disease, those on medications and FIV positive cats. An additional cleaning fee will be charged for cats that are urinating or defecating outside of their litterbox.

Long-Term Stays: A $100 deposit is required at drop off.​

Vaccinations: All cats must have current FVRCP and Rabies vaccines. Adult cats should be vaccinated at one year of age and thereafter every three years. Please provide proof of vaccine, which may be e-mailed to scrumplesnacks@gmail.com. 
 

Dog Boarding Policies

Scrumples welcomes puppies and dogs of all ages. We can board your dog if they are in heat but an additional fee of $25 per day will be added. Puppies who are not housebroken are also welcome with an additional cleaning fee of $15 per day. We also welcome dogs with special needs, including but not limited to diabetics, those with kidney disease, those on medications and geriatric dogs.

Long-Term Stays:  A $100 deposit is required at drop off.

Vaccinations: All dogs must have current Dhpp, Bordetella and Rabies vaccines. We recommend a current Leptospirosis vaccine, but it is not required. We accept vaccine exemptions from a veterinarian. Please provide proof of vaccine, which may be e-mailed to scrumplesnacks@gmail.com.

Deposits: All reservations require a deposit to hold the reservation. The deposit is not refundable or transferable; it is deducted from the total at time of check out.

Check Out Time/ Late Check Outs:  Drop off/pick up hours are scheduled as an appointment between the hours of 8:30am and 5pm Monday through Thursday and between 9:30am-5pm Friday and Saturday. Drop off or pick up outside of those hours is available for a fee of $30.00. Sunday drop off or pick up is also available by appointment. We are happy to accommodate changes in the pick or drop off time so please communicate those changes.  A late fee is charged for each 15 minutes that you are late for the scheduled drop off or pick up time if we have not been notified of the time change.
